A simple, elegant little lady, but what a cool profile~! This piece, titled, "Stillness" was completed in the style of a silk painting. I really love that orangey-red colour....a nice compliment to the turquoise leaves. My poppies are just starting to sprout up and pretty soon I will be honoured with their colourful show.

More Alstroemeria....I know! I guess I went through a bit of a faze. Your have to admit, the flower is quite unique. This piece, simply titled, Alstroemeria, was sold at an auction at the Holiday on the Harbour Christmas Charity Ball in Halifax, 2008. I really think the yellows and pinks compliment each other very well here.
