This piece is titled "Delicates" and is another watercolour on Oriental rice paper with ink. I am really having a lot of fun with this technique even though the spread of paint throughout the paper can be a bit of a challenge. This particular rice paper has a really nice fiber running through it that absorbs the pigment and enhances the process.
Thank you for looking~!

WOW....this sure was a lot of fun~! This piece, titled "kaleidoscope", was done on oriental rice paper with a little ink here and there. I absolutely love this technique. A bit difficult to work with the constant spread of paint throughout the piece as you work, but that's part of the charm. All the little fibers in the paper and the deckle edge sure ad interest. This piece will be "free float" framed to take advantage of that edge.

Dimensions are 5.75" X 10.5" (unframed)
